The Emmaus Diptych

Unique

The Emmaus Diptych was a private commission for a friend and Filipino priest, Fr Tito Caluag.  Inspired by the Gospel of Luke (24: 13-35), it depicts a couple of scenes from one of the post-Resurrection appearances of Jesus Christ:  The Road to Emmaus and the Supper at Emmaus.

Alay Kapwa:  Radiating Christ
Unique

Alay Kapwa (offering of oneself to one's neighbour) was created in 1975 by the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines “to bring about a society enlivened by the Gospel values of justice, peace, and love for our less fortunate brothers and sisters”.

The sculpture is based on the Alay Kapwa logo and summarises the works and Legacy Programmes of the charity.    It was a great privilege to be asked to create Alay Kapwa:  Radiating Christ for the Golden Jubilee of Alay Kapwa.
