The Holy Face

​​Inspired  by the Veil of Veronica, the sculpture depicts the face of Jesus Christ emerging from a linen cloth.

The Holy Face is encircled by the symbols of the Passion:
- A vine of thorns, piercing a red whip, and a silver rope intertwine to create the halo
- Within the halo are five orbs which represent the five wounds from the Crucifixion
- Eight rays radiate from each orb, the total of forty lashes endured from the scourging.
